Aim

This course can be treated as a reference resource where you can refer to for information about the course,  and a repository where you will find guidelines and templates to prepare your school and students for the programme. 

In this course you will be introduced to:

  • Learning theories, about operational leadership and service leadership
  • An overview of The LEAD Mindset rationale
  • An overview of The LEAD Mindset Student Leadership Programme
  • LEAD GDPR Policies
  • Templates and guides you can download and use.

Format

This is a self-paced course without active moderation. You are encouraged to reach out to your LEAD Facilitator if you have any queries and submit reviews and feedback to help us continually improve The LEAD Mindset Experience.

Estimated time

There is no estimated time to complete the course as it serves a reference. We strongly recommend, however, that you dedicate at least an hour to get your head around The LEAD Mindset Rationale, LEAD GDPR Policies and the principles of operational leadership.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the purpose and rationale of The LEAD Mindset programme
  • List the key components of the Student Leadership Programme
  • Use the guidelines and templates to setup, design, operationalise, monitor and evaluate the  introduction of LEAD in your school and get students ready for The LEAD Mindset Experience.
  • Apply the theory of The LEAD Mindset to developing their operational leadership skills. 
  • be confident that the implementation of the programme meets GDPR statutory guidelines.

This course is experiential as opposed to competency based. This means you will get out of this course what you put into it. There is no active moderation. You will have the opportunity to build your leadership portfolio.
